Safe Place: returning to chambers
24/10/2022

Wellbeing
For over a year, Safe Place has been an invaluable resource for barristers who have been experiencing stress or trauma. It is a confidential discussion group where barristers can meet and ventilate matters of concern to them, in a confidential setting. Experience has shown that the benefits of group discussion and the sharing of experiences are profound, when done in a safe and nurturing environment.
Safe Place has been operating successfully online, via an electronic platform, over the last year, but it is time to re-launch the forum in an ‘hybrid’ setting. Once every four weeks, at 4.30 on Monday, Safe Place will be conducted in a confidential setting at Level 22 Chambers. The first in person meeting will be at 4.30pm on 7 November 2022. If participants would like to dial in to the meeting online instead, please click here to register.
It is important that clerks and heads of chambers are aware of this resource for barristers. An information presentation will take place today at 4.30pm on 24 October 2022 via Zoom. You can RSVP here.
We encourage you to attend.
