Bar Association Annual General Meeting and Election Timetable

The New South Wales Bar Association’s AGM will be held in the Common Room of the New South Wales Bar Association, Basement, Selborne Chambers, 174-180 Phillip Street, Sydney, on Thursday, 3 November 2022 at 5.00pm.

Nominations for 2023 Bar Council open 15 September 2022. Nomination forms must be scanned or photographed and submitted to the Returning Officer via email to elections@nswbar.asn.au by 4.00pm on Thursday, 6 October 2022.

Once the ballot for the 2023 Bar Council Election opens members will be able to, at their choosing, vote either via the Association’s online election platform or by using a paper ballot.

The election ballot opens Friday, 14 October 2022 and closes at 1.00pm on Thursday 3 November 2022.

Counting commences on the morning of Friday 4 November 2022, with an announcement of the results via InBrief.
