Bar FC warms up for this Saturday’s State of Origin Series

On Thursday, the Bar FC played the top of the ladder team, Greenbridge. Bar FC came out strong in the first half, with Morrison kicking a goal from a pass by Coutinho. Harris was kept busy in goals with some great saves, which saw Bar FC leading 1-0 at half time.

Coutinho, Spiers, Cook, Rizk and Rogers strongly contested the mid-field. But alas, Greenbridge were too strong in the second half, and scored three goals, to see the full time score at 3-1 in Greenbridge’s favour.

It was a good warm up for the Bar FC for this Saturday’s annual State of Origin against the QLD Bar and the Victorian Bar. Kick off is at 1.00pm in the Domain. Spectators welcome. The team was as follows:
