ABA Taxation Committee CPD

The Australian Bar Association is hosting a Trans-Tasman discussion of the New Zealand and Australian General Anti-Avoidance Regimes, discussing the latest developments in New Zealand (including the landmark Frucor Suntory decision) and contemplate the differences and similarities in approach in Australia and New Zealand.

Join Committee Chair Kristen Deards SC, Justice Palmer (High Court of New Zealand), Justice Thawley (Federal Court of Australia) and Bradley Jones SC (Ground Floor Wentworth Chambers) from 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Wednesday, 16 November 2022 to discuss these latest developments.

This seminar may be eligible for 1 CPD point under State CPD programs. It is the responsibility of the individual member to determine whether CPD points can be earned for an attendance of an event hosted by the ABA, as the mandatory continuing professional development requirements vary between each state and territory. In NSW, you can claim 1 CPD point per hour of engagement.
