Bar Council Election

The ballot for the 2023 Bar Council opens at 9.00am on Friday, 14 October 2022 and closes at 1.00pm on Thursday, 3 November 2022.

Voting members may vote by either:

• completing and returning a hardcopy ballot paper; OR
• casting your vote electronically via the Association’s online election platform

You may only vote once. If you return a paper ballot and submit a vote online, both votes will be invalidated.

Ballot papers for the election of the 2023 Bar Council are being mailed to all those eligible to vote today, Thursday, 13 October 2022.

All voting members, with the exception of those who have elected not to receive email communications from the Association, will receive a link via email to the electronic voting platform tomorrow, Friday 14 October 2022.

Any member who has not received the email tomorrow, or their ballot paper by COB Friday, 21 October 2022, and who wishes to cast a vote, should contact the Bar Association reception or email elections@nswbar.asn.au.

Members should take care to complete the ballot paper in accordance with the instructions provided. If any member has a query concerning the completion of the ballot paper they should contact the Bar Association for assistance.

The ballot closes at 1.00pm on Thursday, 3 November 2022.
