The District Court Amendment Act 2022 (NSW), which increases the Court’s general jurisdictional limit from $750,000.00 to $1,250,000.00 and the jurisdictional limits in equity proceedings and temporary injunctions from $20,000.00 to $100,000.00 was proclaimed on 7 December 2022 and commences on 16 December 2022.
