Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Regulation 2022

The Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Regulation 2022 commenced on 1 September 2022 and replaced the previous Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Regulation 2012.

The 2022 Regulation remade the previous 2012 Regulation with some amendments to reflect current legislative obligations, standards and operational practices. It includes a number of amendments of a drafting nature, consistent with current drafting practices of the Parliamentary Counsel’s Office. It also includes a number of substantive amendments.
