Bar Association Annual General Meeting and Election Timetable

The New South Wales Bar Association’s AGM will be held in the Common Room of the New South Wales Bar Association, Basement, Selborne Chambers, 174-180 Phillip Street, Sydney, on Thursday, 14 November 2024 at 5.00pm.

Nominations for the 2025 Bar Council open on 9 September 2024. Nomination forms must be scanned or photographed and submitted to the Returning Officer via email to elections@nswbar.asn.au by 4.00pm on Monday, 21 October 2024.

Once the ballot for the 2025 Bar Council Election opens members will be able, at their choosing, to vote either via the Association’s online election platform or by using a paper ballot. The election ballot opens 28 October 2024 and closes at 1:00pm on Thursday 14 November 2024. An announcement of the results is expected on Friday 15 November 2024, via In Brief and on display in the Bar Association.
