Practising Certificate Renewals BPAY and Direct Debit Cut-Off Today

All applications for renewal of practising certificates must be received by Friday, 30 June 2023. The Bar Association will accept payment of practising certificate fees by credit card, BPAY and direct deposit, however after Friday, 23 June 2023 payment will only be accepted by credit card.

All applications for renewal are now attracting the statutory late fee. The fees for practising certificates are the same as last year. Applications for waiver of fees will be considered in accordance with the NSW Bar Association Fee Waiver Policy here.

All barristers should have received an email containing a link to renew their practising certificates using the same online system as previous years. If you cannot find your email, please click here and login to start your application.

If you do not intend to renew your practising certificate, please either use the online system to advise the Association or contact the Certification area of the Association by email certification@nswbar.asn.au. Please note that if you are leaving practice, you have the option to move to Class B membership of the Association.
