Join the Legal Aid Committee from 5.00pm on Monday, 26 June 2023 to discuss the considerations when briefed by Legal Aid to assess whether there is merit in a conviction appeal or a severity appeal in the Court of Criminal Appeal; matters to consider when drafting grounds of appeal; and what to cover when drafting a no merit advice.

The speakers are Kellie Stares SC of Sir Owen Dixon Chambers and Jane Paingakulam of Sir Anthony Mason Chambers with the CPD to be chaired by Jamie Trevallion of Sir Owen Dixon Chambers.
