Bar FC defeated 4-2 in Domain Soccer League

It is always tough for Bar FC when we play one of the top three. Today was no exception as we met third placed BNP Paribas. The game was fast and skilful with the score line probably flattering BNP. Bar FC played some really good football to ensure the game was not one sided and was a great spectacle.

Goals to Hartford Davis and Olson (a penalty) were both well taken, with assists from Coutinho for both. Philips kept well and saved a number of certain goals. A debut from Ionita was also welcomed – with Connolly (“I’ve never been left wing in my life”) and Ionita playing left midfield.

Next week’s game promises to be a little easier as Bar FC meet the bankers, the Reserve Bank on Thursday 6 July 2023 at 1.15 pm on top of the Domain Car Park.
