The Bar Association is seeking expressions of interest from qualified persons for nomination by the Bar Association to the Local Court Arbitrators List for the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2025. Expressions of interest are invited from practitioners in all practice areas, however, the Court has advised that expertise is particularly sought in the areas of Motor Vehicle Accidents, Building Work, Commercial Law and Consumer Law.

In order to be eligible to submit an expression of interest, you must either:

• hold an arbitration qualification; or
• be listed on the Bar Association’s General Approved Arbitrators List.

If you wish to register your interest, you can do so via the form here.

Once you have completed the registration form, you will receive an acknowledgment email with a further link to a form where you can specify the court location/s to which you wish to be appointed.

Applications close at 5.00pm on Monday, 18 September 2023.
