Joint Law Courts Building re-opening

The Supreme Court will resume sittings in the Joint Law Courts Building, Queens Square on Wednesday, 4 October 2023. Court users should continue to check the Supreme Court’s website and the Online Registry for updates on sittings and venues. All matters listed for next Tuesday will proceed in other Courts in the vicinity of Queens Square such as Hospital Road, St James/King St and the Land & Environment Court with some matters also listed in Darlinghurst.

While the courtrooms were generally not impacted by water damage, members of the profession and other court users are advised that due to ongoing repair work and temporary floor coverings, they should anticipate some loss of amenity in the public areas.
