Equitable briefing and networking event

The Women Lawyers’ Association of NSW together with the event sponsors and hosts, Watts McCray and Australian Family Lawyers are hosting an equitable briefing and networking event for the legal profession. The event will be held on Thursday, 19 October 2023 from 5.30pm at Level 7, 9 George Street, Parramatta.

A panel of members, consisting of Jane Needham SC of 13th Floor St James, Edward Muston SC of 7 Wentworth Selborne, Carmel Lee of Greenway Chambers and Sarwa Abdelraheem of Waratah Chambers will speak.

Together with the panel moderator, Jackie Vincent of Watts McCray and Australian Family Lawyers, they will be taking a deep dive into the experiences of barristers and how firms and government agencies can adopt and support equitable briefing policies to ensure greater equity for women in the legal profession.
