Reissued Practice Note SC EQ 4 - Corporations List

Today the Chief Justice reissued Practice Note SC EQ 4 – Corporations List, with a commencement date of 18 October 2023.

The changes to the Practice Note commence at paragraph 24 and pick up the Practice Note – Harmonisation in schemes of arrangement as developed by the Committee for the Harmonisation of Rules of the Council of Chief Justices of Australia and New Zealand which has been developed in order to address recent differences in scheme practice and recognises that consistency in Australian Courts’ approach is beneficial to all parties involved in schemes of arrangement.

There are no other changes to Practice Note SC EQ 4.
