Barrister buddy get together

The Women’s Legal Service NSW ‘barrister buddies’ next get together will be on Thursday, 23 November 2023 from 6.00pm at Colins, Biggers & Paisley. The scheme aims to improve and increase the team’s capacity to undertake further complex parenting matters by developing stronger and lasting relationships with barristers who have considerable experience and specialised expertise in parenting litigation.

The focus of this year’s barrister buddies event is the Family Law Amendment Bill 2023.

The event will include an overview of the changes to the Family Law Act and discussion around what these changes will mean for victim survivors of family violence.
