World AIDS Day
01/12/2023

Each year, on 1 December, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. The purpose of World AIDS Day is to show support for those living with and affected by HIV and AIDS, raise awareness about prevention, treatment and care, eliminate stigma and discrimination, and remember people who have lost their lives to AIDS-related illnesses.
This year, the UNAIDS theme for the 35th commemoration of World AIDS Day is “Let Communities Lead”. World AIDS Day 2023 will revolve around community and shared responsibility. It will bring to the fore the need to enable and support communities in their leadership roles to advance progress towards the end of AIDS.
