Helen Gerondis, a pioneering woman of the NSW Bar, has passed away. Helen was called to the Bar in 1965 and practised for 24 years. She was one of only four practising women at the Bar at that time.

Among other achievements she established University Chambers and from 1980 to 1983, she was the leader of the floor.
