Craig Lambert and Can Too

Wellbeing

After undergoing a double knee replacement in June, Craig Lambert is again challenging himself to swim in the Palm Beach Ocean Swim on 28 January 2024 and, if his new knees make that, then the North Bondi Ocean Classic in February 2024 to raise funds for cancer research and is again seeking the always generous support of the NSW Bar.

1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. This means that potentially someone we love may have to battle cancer. Craig has lost two of his closest male friends to cancer in the last year, including Geoff Pike whom many at the Bar knew and loved, and is swimming in honour of them.

The Can Too Program, which Craig is participating in, provides professionally coached training programs for participants of any fitness level to run, swim and cycle their way to a healthier lifestyle and eventually to a cancer-free world.

Since 2005, the Can Too Foundation has trained over 18,000 participants and raised over $25,000,000 to invest in over 200 one-year cancer research grants. It would be fantastic if you could sponsor Craig who needs to raise $1360 to qualify to participate in the Palm Beach Swim and who has raised over $11,000 to date to fund cancer research.

To do so just go to https://www.cantoo.org.au/fundraisers/craiglambert/summer-ocean-swim-1km-2024

Craig again thanks his chambers, 6 Windeyer, and the Bar for its’ continuing and generous support!
