Edward Muston SC and Maria Gerace SC appointed Advocates for Change
01/02/2024

The President of the NSW Bar Association has appointed Edward Muston SC as an Advocate for Change for Gender Equality and Maria Gerace SC as an Advocate for Change for Cultural Diversity for a two year period.
The Association thanks the outgoing Advocates for Change, the Honourable Justice Anthony McGrath (formerly Anthony McGrath SC of Alinea Chambers) and Lee-May Saw of Frederick Jordan Chambers, for their service.
The purpose of the Advocates for Change program is to provide role models who are excellent practitioners and who, through the example of what they do and say in their professional lives as barristers, represent the full width of diversity and inclusion that the NSW Bar Association wishes to promote at the Bar.
As Advocates for Change, Muston SC and Gerace SC have agreed to participate in the formulation of strategies to promote equality, diversity and inclusion at the NSW Bar.
Muston SC and Gerace SC join Sharyn Hall SC, Advocate for Change for LGBTQI Inclusivity and Dr Robert Dubler SC, Advocate for Change for Accessibility.
More information about the NSW Bar Association Advocates for Change program can be found on the Association's website.
