Public Defenders Annual Criminal Law Conference

The Public Defenders Annual Criminal Law Conference will be held on the weekend of 9 and 10 March 2024, at UTS Aerial Function Centre, Ultimo. Speakers will include Chief Justice Andrew Bell, Justice Natalie Adams, Judge Warwick Hunt, Magistrate Holly Kemp, Phillip Boulten SC, Tim Game SC, Vanessa Whittaker SC, Edward Muston SC and many more. The conference is open to all criminal law practitioners and provides ten CPD points across four strands:

• Ethics & Professional Responsibility
• Substantive Law, Practice & Procedure & Evidence
• Practice Management
• Professional Skills

The 2024 Public Defenders' Criminal Law Conference will be a hybrid event allowing practitioners to attend in-person or online.
