Life Membership for the Hon Justice Michael Kirby AC CMG

At a recent meeting of the Bar Council it was formally resolved to appoint the Hon Justice Michael Kirby AC CMG as a life member for his âexceptional service to the Bar Association and to the profession of the lawâ.
His Honour was farewelled at an informal ceremonial sitting, held at 12.00pm today, at which Attorney General Robert McClelland, ABA President Tom Bathurst QC and NSW Bar Association President Anna Katzmann SC spoke.
