Matt Laffan Memorial Scholarship Public Appeal

Friends and colleagues of the late Matt Laffan are working to set up a scholarship at St John's College, which, it is hoped, will "support and inspire many more gifted people in the future who face some of the challenges Matt overcame". The scholarship details are yet to be finalised with the relevant parties, but a web site has been set up to receive online donations. The goal is to raise $40,000, and as of today, 9 March 2009, $28,820 has already been pledged.
