SCNSW Equity Division: Practice Note on cross-border insolvency

On 11 March 2009, Chief Justice J J Spigelman AC issued Practice Note SC Eq 6 (Cross-Border Insolvency: Cooperation with Foreign Courts or Foreign Representatives). The Practice Note commenced on 11 March 2009. Corresponding amendments were also made to Practice Note SC Eq 4 (Corporations List). These changes were prompted by the Harmonised Rule Committee's decision that all courts should adopt the same practices on Cross-Border Insolvency.�
