Web watch: the Nixon tapes online

A new web site, www.nixontapes.org, has digitised 2,150 hours of President Nixon's phone calls and meetings between February 1971 and July 1973. Its purpose is to "make freely available the best-quality digital audio and selected transcripts to scholars, journalists, and members of the public" in readily accessible pdf and mp3 formats.
