Family dispute resolution conference

An essential conference for all family dispute resolution practitioners, lawyers, counsellors, psychologists, mediators and others involved in family dispute resolution will be held on Saturday, 2 May 2009 at The Grace Hotel, 77 York St, Sydney from 9.00am to 4.30 pm. Registration is available from 8.30am.�

The conference is being organised by the Australian Dispute Resolution Association Inc to provide the latest information on the changes in family legislation and how these will affect your practice. Early bird registration is available before 17 April. The $130 registration includes lunch and refreshments (or $120 before 17 April).� Federal Magistrate Judith Walker, Professor Hilary Astor, Jody Doualetas, Alexandra Wearne, Margaret Condonis and Paul Boers will all be talking on their areas of interest. Paul Lewis will facilitate an interactive session on practice issues. Topics are De Facto Property Legislation, Domestic Violence Issues, Assessment for FDR, Same Sex Reforms, and Section 60I Certificates.�
