Reminder: free yoga trial tomorrow morning

09/04/2009

Yoga classes will be continuing in the new term, starting Tuesday 28 April. **Yogabowl will be running a **free trial class tomorrow, 21 April 2009, at 7:15am **in the Common Room -** a great way for new students to try before committing. No booking is required for this class. No experience is necessary - beginner through to experienced students all welcome. Just show up! Your teacher will be Jolie Brook.

Why yoga? Working in the corporate world isn't just hard on your brain; it's hard on your body too. Sitting all day weakens and tenses up the body, and dulls the mind. It's a recipe for frustration, low productivity and burnout. Yogabowl's programs gently help people develop healthier bodies and sharper minds. Testimonial evidence constantly reaffirms an overall improvement in general health and quality of life. All shapes and sizes are welcomed into this non-competitive, non-threatening environment - absolute beginners to experienced students.

What do I need to wear or bring? Yogabowl suggest you wear loose, comfortable clothing (wigs and gowns just don't work), and bare feet. If you don't own (or can't borrow) a yoga mat, then a towel is OK just to get you started. Come to class with an empty bladder, and an open heart.

What about eating breakfast? ** Typically what happens in yoga and when food is digesting, isn't a happy match. A small snack is OK during the 90 mins prior to class, though wait until after class to eat a full meal. **Beyond the free trial class... We will follow up the free trial class with an 11-week term of classes. Term 2 classes will be held on Tuesdays, between 7:15am - 8:15am. Open class starting Tuesday, 28 April - every week up to & including last class Tuesday, 7 July 2009 (11 weeks). Your teacher will be Jolie Brook. COSTS Full term registration:If you'd like to commit and pay in advance for the 11 week term... $165 for 11 weeks (ie. 11classes) paid in advance. Register online here. Part term registration: If you're happy to commit and pay in advance, though know you won't be able to attend all 11 classes.... $15/class pro-rata (paid in advance) for the classes you know you'll be able to attend. Please email the attached appropriate registration form to us ASAP. Casual / Drop-in classes: No commitment, come and go as you please.... $20/class. Please email the attached CASH PAYMENT registration form to us ASAP. Note: Many health funds pay benefits to cover yoga classes. Pleaes check with your fund. Please register ASAP. There is a minimum 10 students required for the class to go ahead; leaving it to the last minute won't help! **What happens if I miss a class I've already paid for? ** It should be noted that your results and the success of this program is relative to your regular yoga practice; we encourage you to prioritise your yoga practice. Paid-in advance classes are only valid for the current term, and do not credit into subsequent terms, nor are refunded. Make-up classes can be done at our Yoga school up on the northside (Lane Cove/Greenwich) - YOGABOWL. If you're unsure of your ability to commit, please attend casually. If you need a yoga mat, or any yoga equipment for the class please let us know asap and we'll bring it to your first class for you. We look forward to welcoming you into a class very soon. Have a lovely Easter Break. For further information contact:
