Position vacant: NSWLR verifier – casual/part-time

The Council of Law Reporting is looking for a verifier to assist in the preparation of reportable judgments for publication in the NSWLR. Responsibilities include: checking the accuracy of all citations, quotations and references in reportable judgments marking up judgments to NSWLR style for consistency and ease of reading.

Requirements include:

• superior legal research skills and well-developed computer skills

• a strong eye for detail and neat handwriting for marking up judgments.

10 hours/week (very flexible), training provided, excellent conditions. Would suit an advanced stage law student, a clerk, or a junior practitioner with other commitments.
