Criminal Case Conferencing Trial Amendment (Extension) Regulation 2009 (NSW)

The Criminal Case Conferencing Trial Amendment (Extension) Regulation 2009 (NSW) has been published on the NSW Legislation web site. The object of this Regulation is to amend the Criminal Case Conferencing Trial Regulation 2008 _to extend the operation of the trial scheme established under the _Criminal Case Conferencing Trial Act 2008 to proceedings in respect of an indictable offence for which a court attendance notice was filed on or after 1 May 2008 but before 1 July 2010. Currently, section 5 of that Act provides that the proceedings must be filed before 1 May 2009 for the trial scheme to apply.
