Survey of junior members

13/05/2009

The Bar Council wishes to conduct a survey of senior junior members of the Bar. The purpose of the survey is to assess the practices of senior junior members of the bar who have been practising for seven to 20 years. It is envisaged that the survey will enable a comparison of different aspects of barristers’ practices such as areas of practice, jurisdiction in which barrister appears, sources of work, types of matter, experience in running trials, junior work, fees, as well as difficulties faced by barristers and causes of those difficulties.

The results of the survey will be compiled and made available to all members via InBrief.

The survey contains 37 questions and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. ** The survey is anonymous**.

You may take this survey any time between now and **29 May 2009. **

Thank you for participating in this survey. We greatly appreciate your time and feedback. If you experience any difficulties with the survey please contact Cindy Penrose at cpenrose@nswbar.asn.au
