The former chief justice, the Hon Murray Gleeson AC, has accepted appointment as patron of� the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Australia). The institute also reports that Derek Minus, barrister, has been elected president of the Australian branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
