More appointments to note

The Governor-in-Council has approved the following appointments:

Mr Richard Allan Herps has been appointed as a deputy senior crown prosecutor for the period commencing on 2 July 2009 and expiring on 1 July 2016.

The Hon Brian Tamberlin QC has been appointed to act as a judge and a judge of appeal of the Supreme Court of New South Wales for the period commencing on 6 July 2009 and expiring on 30 June 2010.

Commissioner Inaam Tabbaa has been reappointed as an acting magistrate for the period commencing on 1 July 2009 and expiring on 30 September 2009.

Mr John Griffiths SC has been appointed as a member of the Judicial Commission of New South Wales for the period commencing on 1 July 2009 and expiring on 30 June 2012.

Mr Timothy Game SC has been appointed as a part-time commissioner of the New South Wales Law Reform Commission for the period commencing on 1 July 2009 and expiring on 30 June 2010.

Associate Professor Jane Goodman-Delahunty, the Hon David Hunt AO QC, the Hon Gregory Reginald James, QC, and his Honour Judge Taylor AM RFD, have been reappointed as part-time commissioners of the New South Wales Law Reform Commission for the period commencing on 1 July 2009 and expiring on 30 June 2010.�
