National Indigenous Legal Conference

Watpa Meyunna (South Australian Indigenous Legal Professionals Association) is very pleased to present the 4th National Indigenous Legal Conference on 24-25 September 2009 at the University of Adelaide. The conference will canvas topical issues that have a major impact on Indigenous people in Australia and provide a forum for discussing potential long term sustainable strategies to address Indigenous disadvantage in the legal domain.
Conference topics will include:

This conference will be of particular interest and relevance for those who have a professional or personal interest in legal issues affecting Indigenous people. The previous National Indigenous Conferences over the past three years have attracted between 150-310 participants working across the legal system,government, agencies and academics.
