Tasers are sometimes described as a "less-lethal", or "less-than-lethal" weapon. The New South Wales Government, Opposition and Police support their deployment, but what are some of the concerns about their use and abuse? The NSW Parliamentary Research Service has published an E-Brief on Tasers - developments, findings and recommendations, which summarises existing research into their use and abuse.
