New and reissued Practice Notes in the Local Court

On 18 December 2009 the chief magistrate of the Local Court reissued Practice Note 2 of 2005 and Practice Note 6 of 2007.� The Practice Notes deal with Case Management proceedings in the small claims division of the Local Court and Damages for Negligence as a result of motor vehicle collision respectively.
Practice Note 1 of 2010, Procedures to be adopted for Committal hearings in the Local Court for proceedings commences on or after 1 May 2008, and Practice Note 2 of 2010, Procedure for appeals of SDRO annulment decisions, were issued on 4 January 2010.
