New practice note for Supreme Court Corporations List

Chief Justice Spigelman AC yesterday issued Practice Note SC Eq 4, regarding the new structure and operation of the Corporations List in the Equity Division. All proceedings and applications in the Corporations List (except those in the Corporations Registrarâs List) will be case managed with the aim of achieving a speedy resolution of the real issues in the proceedings. There will also be a duty judge available at all times to hear any urgent applications in corporations matters. This practice note commences on 31 May 2010.�
