Amendments to the Jury Act

The New South Wales Government has introduced into parliament the Jury Amendment Bill 2010. The object of the Bill, as provided by the explanatory notes and the "Agreed to in Principle" speech, is to change the categories of persons disqualified from, or ineligible to undertake, jury service. Schedule 2 amends the _Jury Regulation 2004 _to increase jury service allowances.�
