Barristers needed to teach a course on ethics

Jane Needham SC and Howard Packer were involved in a recent trial of teaching of ethics in public schools. These sessions provide some thought-provoking and exciting opportunities for those children whose parents chose not to have them taught special religious education (a right recognised by the Department of Education).�

The trial was for Term 2 and has now finished.� It is being independently evaluated and, if successful, a programme of ethics teaching may be rolled out in public schools in the future. The programme needs volunteer teachers.
