This seminar, to be presented by The Hon Justice P R Garling, will cover the duties of counsel to the court. In particular, it will explore whether the recent decision of the Victorian Court of Appeal in _Rees v Bailey Aluminium Ladders Pty Ltd _(Rees v Bailey Aluminium Products Pty Ltd â (2008) 21 VR 478; [2008] VSCA 244) gives rise to a new set of more onerous obligations on counsel in the conduct of litigation.
