Greens motion for gay marriage blocked in the Legislative Council

Theï¿½ NSW Government has blocked a Greens motion in the Legislative Council calling on it to legislate for marriage equality in the event that the Federal Parliament fails to do so in 2011. The Greens will move the motion again in the new parliament in 2011.
