Retirement ceremony for the Hon Justice Jennifer Boland

A ceremonial sitting of the Family Court of Australia will be held in Sydney tomorrow, 3 February 2011 to mark the retirement of the Hon Justice Jennifer Boland as a judge of the court and as an Appeal Division judge. The special sitting will be held at the Family Law Courts Building Sydney, Full courtroom, Level 7 at 4:30pm. Grahame Richardson SC will speak on behalf of the NSW Bar. Although the judges will not wear wigs, the convention is for counsel to wear theirs (senior counsel to wear full-bottomed wigs).
