Professional Standards Scheme now recognised in Queensland

Professional Standards Scheme
The Bar Association's new professional standards scheme, which limits liability for damages to $1.5million, commenced on 1 July 2010 and expires on 30 June 2015. Beginning 17 February 2011, the scheme will be recognised in Queensland, which will join ACT, Western Australia, Victoria and the Northern Territory on the list of jurisdictions which enjoy mutual recognition of professional standards schemes.
