Retirement ceremony for the Hon Justice John Cohen

A ceremonial sitting of the Family Court of Australia will be held in Sydney on Friday, 4 March 2011 to mark the retirement of the Hon Justice John Cohen as a judge of the court. The special sitting will be held at the Family Law Courts Building Sydney, Full Courtroom, Level 7 at 4:30pm. Grahame Richardson SC will speak on behalf of the NSW Bar. Although the judges will not wear wigs, the convention is for counsel to wear theirs (senior counsel to wear full-bottomed wigs).
