The perils and pitfalls of virtual practice

The Practice Development Committee has produced a paper on Virtual Practice.� The paper examines a particular internet âlegal question and answerâ service and addresses potential difficulties that may follow by providing such a service. The Bar Council has considered the report and has resolved that barristers involved in the provision of online advice services should be made aware of the problems that arise and should ensure that they comply with the relevant provisions of the_ Legal Profession Act 2004, Legal Profession Regulations 2005_ and the_ New South Wales Barristersâ Rules_.
