Mother's Day Classic and the PILCH Walk for Justice

The Health Sport and Recreation committee would like to bring the following events to members’ attention and encourage participation: � Mother’s Day Classic Fun Run & Walk � This event will be held on Sunday, 8 May 2011 and is a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day and raise funds for breast cancer.� You can participate in either a 4km or 8km run or walk.� In Sydney, Mother’s Day Classic events are being held at both the Domain� and at Parramatta. Early bird prices are available until 5:00 pm 15 April 2011.� If you would like a Bar Association T-Shirt or singlet to wear on the day, please email Jaimee Dinihan at jdinihan@nswbar.asn.au and specify size and whether you prefer a T-Shirt or singlet by 5:00 pm Wednesday, 20 April 2011.

PILCH Walk for Justice � The PILCH Walk for Justice is a 5 km walk that will be held on the first day of National Law Week, Monday 16 May 2011.� The walk commences at 7am at the Archibald Fountain in Hyde Park and raises funds for the Public Interest Law Clearing House (PILCH) NSW.� Entry fees are $20 per walker, $150 per team of 10 and $5 for students.� To register please visit www.pilchnsw.org.au.� If you would like a NSW Bar Association T-Shirt or singlet to wear on the day, please email Jaimee Dinihan at jdinihan@nswbar.asn.au with specify size and whether you prefer a T-Shirt or a singlet by 5:00 pm Wednesday 20 April 2011. ��
