Writing for the Court: The NSW Bar Association will be holding a half-day Legal Writing Workshop on Monday 18 April. The workshop, led by Professor James C Raymond, PhD, will provide practical advice and techniques, as well as an opportunity to examine and revise prior written work. Commercial Arbitration Act: On Tuesday 19 April **and **Wednesday 20 April, in a two-part seminar, Peter Callaghan SC and Ian Bailey SC will be presenting sessions on the Commercial Arbitration Act. Both sessions will be chaired by Angela Bowne SC. Please note that attendance at both of these seminars (together with attendance at a third seminar later in the year) will be necessary for those members seeking approval for the first time as BarADR arbitrators with the Association.
