A Charter of Rights review and other news from Victoria

The attorney-general of Victoria, Robert Clark, today announced the establishment of a parliamentary inquiry into the operation of the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act 2006. Meanwhile, the attorney has announced the appointment of Stephen McLeish SC as the new solicitor-general.
