NSWLRC review of compensation to relatives - submissions due on 17 June

The New South Wales Law Reform Commission has released Consultation Paper 14, Compensation to Relatives. Its purpose is to consider the law that relates to the provision of damages to the relatives and dependants of victims of wrongful deaths, including under the Compensation to Relatives Act 1897, Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1944, Dust Diseases Tribunal Act 1989 and Civil Liability Act 2002. The commission welcomes submissions on the questions raised in the consultation paper. The deadline for submissions is **17 June 2011. **
