Papers to note: Gender and the intergenerational transfer of criminal tendencies

A study released by the Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC) highlights the increased likelihood of the transfer of criminal tendencies of parents engaged in crime to their children. The study, by the Tasmanian Institute of Law Enforcement Studies and the AIC, focussed on the impact of a mother's criminal history on the offending of her sons and/or daughters. Learn more >
