Papers to note: NSWLRC consultation paper on security for costs

The NSW Law Reform Commission has released_ Consultation Paper 13: Security for Costs and Associated Costs Orders_. Of particular concern to the commission are costs orders in cases that raise public interest issues, for example cases that involve legal issues that affect a significant sector of the community, or involve questions of law that need clarification. Submissions can be sent to GPO Box 5199, Sydney NSW 2001; DX 1227 Sydney; or nsw_lrc@agd.nsw.gov.au.�The closing date for submissions is 1 July 2011.
